What is Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) Inspection?

AQL inspection is the process of determining whether a shipment contains an acceptable percentage of defective units prior to shipment to the customer. Inspectors randomly select samples from the delivered samples and check for defects against the number of acceptable and rejected defects in the AQL table.
